at last

The damn has been broken
The seal undone
The reins untied
The barriers gone
Walls once built
Slowly crumbled
The spell once cast
Slowly unraveled
Tears are falling
An unending rain
The die has been cast
Time to face the game
Gush of warmth
Melting the ice
A flood of emotions
Streaming down my eyes
The gates have been opened
The chains released
What once had been bound
Is being slowly released
Finally. At long last
The walls are lowered
After years of waiting
Love can now be discovered
